Shore Writers' Festival 2013 - Shore II - Enniscrone
1st, 2nd & 3rd of November 2013 in the Ocean Sands Hotel, Enniscrone. The creative team behind wordlegs.com are organising their second writers' festival Shore II which will take place the first weekend of November this year. Ocean Sands hotel in Enniscrone, a beautiful hotel beside a beautiful Atlantic beach. Despite not getting Arts Council festival funding, we're planning a bigger, more ambitious event this year with a few surprises and new additions to the programme. Over the weekend, there will be open mic sessions, panel discussions, performance poetry, music by singer songwriters, a dj set, selected readings, literary workshops and much more. All activities and workshops are offered for FREE.
Please Bring: A pen and paper. Your books and stories to sell/give away at the bookstalls. Brochures, information, creative writing ideas that you want to share over the weekend!
There will be signup sheets for Open Mic and Reading Slots at the Registration Table.
We will announce more information at the end of July/beginning of August when we'll also be looking for innovators, readers, performers, tutors, participants, volunteers etc.
